Grant Description

To support the New York Police Department Oversight and Accountability Campaign, specifically mobilization of grassroots constituencies to continue the pressure to reform of NYPD surveillance programs, calling for an audit of the program to expose the details of how it is financed, educating the New York City Council Public Safety Committee on the ongoing efforts on NYPD accountability, and playing a bridgebuilding role between Arab, Muslim and communities of color on police accountability issues locally and nationally.
