Grant Description

To support critical research and analysis to build stronger connections between those working to expand access to the justice system and those fighting to strengthen fair and independent courts in the South, and to help launch the Julian Bond Fellowship, a new initiative aimed at growing the field of researchers and writers of color in the South who will focus on fair courts, access to justice, and other democracy issues.
