Dear Colleagues,
I am writing to share Proteus Fund’s 2022 Grantmaking & Program Report. It reflects the many ways we strategically supported organizations, communities, and movements last year through yet another wave of well-organized, extremist forces threatening our most basic rights and our entire structure of democracy. In addition to being Proteus Fund’s largest grantmaking year to date, our team made significant advances in creating deeper and more comprehensive alignment of the work of our donor collaboratives in 2022, maximizing our resources and strengthening our commitment to the interconnected nature of racial, gender, queer, and disability justice and an inclusive, representative democracy. We also continued to enhance our portfolio of fiscally sponsored projects that align with our vision and mission and that are having a significant impact on our world.
We’re proud of the work the Proteus Fund team was able to accomplish in 2022 supporting critical social justice movements in deep partnership with our donors, grantee partners, and other collaborators. We hope you take some time to review our report, and hopefully see some things that may help you in your work.
