Shared transformative experiences lead to transformative relationships, creating the conditions for transformative change. This theory of change guides the Solidarity Collaborative’s intentional approach to convening its cohorts.

In December, the second cohort of the Solidarity Collaborative convened for the first time in San Diego. Alongside donor partners, the leaders in this cohort took part in a full-day bus tour of the US-Mexico border to experience it firsthand. The tour, which was led by the American Friends Service Committee, was designed to help the group connect lessons from the community-based movements at the border to broader struggles for equality and justice.
